St. Matthias has a Respect for Life committee whose goal is to raise awareness that all life is a gift from God, from conception to natural death.
The committee has helped to sponsor or promote several events including: 40 Days for Life, The Life Chain, October Respect Life Month parish events, Holy Hours, education, Movie Night, Fill the Crib campaign, and Cluster Parish events with St. John the Evangelist and St. Mary Catholic Family Community.
The Respect for Life committee meets the 3rd Monday of every month at 7:00 pm. Interested persons can contact Mary Beth Topf at directorlady@att.net.
