Baptism

Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to rebirth in the Spirit, and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as children of God; we become members of Christ and are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in His mission.

For the Baptism of young children, parents participate in a preparation class. Classes are held in Steiger Hall, Room 7, from 6:30 – 8:30 on a few Wednesdays throughout the year.

Older children, youth, and adults participate in faith formation to prepare for baptism.
