Children’s Liturgy of the Word

Often, the Readings at Mass can be difficult for our younger children to understand and comprehend. Therefore, during designated Sundays, we offer Children’s Liturgy of the Word. Just before the First Reading, children in grades K4-5th are invited down to Steiger Hall to hear and experience the Readings and Gospel of the day, in an age-appropriate, engaging, and more accessible format. This is possible becuase the children being led by qualified and dedicated leaders who share the readings and how the message relates to the youth’s life. After the readings and message, the children participate in an activity to engage the Gospel message.

Children’s Liturgy of the Word (CLW) is offered on designated Sundays at the 8:00 am Mass (until we can get more volunteers). CLW is a free service and requires no signup or registration.
