St. Matthias has a Centering Prayer Group that meets Wednesdays at 7:00 pm in the Parish Center Living Room to pray together. The main goal of this ministry is to have an increased awareness of one’s relationship to God. Lectio Divina, a reading of the same Scripture three times over with short periods of silence between readings, is also practiced. The group uses the next Gospel reading from “At Home with the Word”. Various other materials are included to assist in spiritual growth. New members are welcome!
