Mrs. Jeanne CottreauMiddle School Teacher
I have been teaching at St. Matthias Parish School since the fall of 2017. I have a BA in Business as well as my license in education for grades 1-8. Both degrees were from Alverno College. Prior to teaching, I worked in the business world and love sharing these experiences with students. I feel that it allows them to prepare for the future. I am a St. Matthias Parish member. My husband, Trevor, and I attend weekly masses and volunteer for the St. Matthias Parish festival.
Teaching middle school is a true passion for me. As someone who struggled in math during my formative years, my goal is to support students in making mistakes and persevere to better themselves in all they do. It brings me great joy to see them grow and succeed. Our religion classes bring a smile to my face and heart each day. We share our perspectives in a loving and respectful way to help all of us grow in our faith.
More than anything, I feel that our magnificent middle school students at St. Matthias learn much more than academics. They truly learn to develop themselves and to help those around them grow personally and spiritually.
I am very blessed to be a member of the St. Matthias Parish School community!
